Kanha News update: By Indus Excursion

PRLog (Press Release) – Jun 01, 2009 – Breaking new is coming from Kanha National Park of Madhya Pradesh State. About six wild bison found were found dead in last five days. Dead bodies were found in both Mukki & Kishi range of Kanha National Park. Buffer zone officials are still unaware of this incident. But death of bisons in such a short interval of time raises suspect of some disease of infection. Officials are still in speculation. But if some instant actions will not taken, chances are their that such mysterious may pass to those animals who will consume such dead bodies.
As we know that Forest Department is already planning to translocate some of the bisons to Bandhavgarh National Park, so in our view we should support such steps because of following reasons;

•  Such translocation will ensure even distribution of wildlife animals is all national parks.

•  Protect animals other national park from disease that will spread in one national park.

•  In case of increase in density of any species, such translocation will solve the problem of over-crowding & area-conflict.

•  It will also maintain to charm & attraction of park among incoming tourists and solve the problem of over-crowding in peak seasons as they will have more options of Parks for their favourite animal/s.
